About Alyssa Lee

Alyssa Lee is a designer and illustrator residing in the most perfect southwest suburb of Chicago. Since her many comic series started in third grade, she had known not only that she loved drawing but that she wanted to carry on with art and design throughout her life. Alyssa draws artistic and career inspiration from artists and firms such as Soup2Nuts' "Home Movies", Augenblick Studios, Eduardo Valdivieso, Chuck Anderson, We Can't Stop Thinking, and her design friends, both online and off.

Currently, Alyssa spends much of her time working on her ongoing diary project, freelancing, and working at the local sandwich shop to pay the bills. She is in the process of remodeling and creating her own studio space. In her free time, she enjoys going to shows and supporting local music, bicycling or working out, and loitering at Denny's abusing the free coffee refills.

Alyssa is beginning her freelancing career by offering well-designed products to local bands and businesses. After transforming the southwest burbs into the most well-designed small towns, she hopes to move directly into Chicago and onto a career designing for the music industry.
